Meet Dr. Penny Wong

Dr. Penny Wong was born in Canada but proudly considers Austin, Texas to be her home. She is excited to return to this community as a Leander High School and Southwestern University graduate!

During her time at Southwestern University, Dr. Wong volunteered as a dental assistant with the St. David's Healthcare Foundation’s Dental Van Program to give dental care and education to local elementary schools. From those experiences, Dr. Wong found her calling to care for others using the art, science, and service of dentistry. Dr. Wong graduated from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry with honors in Dental Research. She is a lifelong learner and is gracious to provide quality and compassionate patient-centered dental care to this community.

Currently, Dr. Wong is pursuing her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the Capital Area Dental Society. She also serves on several boards and committees in support of the Academy of General Dentistry. During her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys playing board games, karaoking, traveling, and volunteering with family and friends.
