FAQs*
Are you accepting new patients?
We are! Please note that our Saturday appointments are very popular, so if you'd like a Saturday appointment, you should book it in advance.
Do you require x-rays and an examination at a first visit?
Yes, we need this in order to establish you as a new patient. This enables our dentists to provide the appropriate care for your specific oral health needs. If you have x-rays from a previous dentist, we are happy to upload them into your chart. If you would like to have your x-rays forwarded to us, they can be sent to records@leanderdental.com.
Please note, however, that sometimes x-rays from other offices may not be legible or appropriate for your current appointment reason, and in those cases we may need to re-take them. Often this will be at no cost to you.

Can I just get a cleaning only (no x-rays or exam)?
In order to provide the quality standard of care our dentists insist upon, we do need to take x-rays and perform exams on a fairly regular basis, as appropriate to your oral health condition. This enables our providers to detect any conditions before they worsen. Learn more about this here.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
We have a cancellation fee for appointments either missed or cancelled the day of the appointment. This fee is currently $35 per hour for weekdays, and $50 per hour on Saturdays. All we ask is that you contact us by midnight the evening before your appointment (leave a voicemail if we are closed). This enables us to open up your reserved time to other patients who may be on the waiting list.
Do you require a deposit for appointment reservations?
Yes, we do collect a deposit for appointments of two (2) hours or more, and for treatment appointments with any in-house specialists. This deposit is merely to reserve your appointment time, and we apply any deposits toward your treatment costs. Deposits are forfeited if an appointment is missed or cancelled on the day of the appointment (see above).
Do you treat children?
Yes! Although we are not a pediatric specialty office, we do see patients of all ages. If our dentist feels that a pediatric specialist will be better suited for your child, this can be discussed at his/her appointment, and we are happy to provide a referral if needed.
Do you offer payment plans?
While we do not offer payment plans, we do accept CareCredit as payment, usually with terms of 12 months without interest. You can visit their website at www.carecredit.com/dentistry for more information.
If you have any additional questions, just give us a call at 512-260-0111 (the Leander TX phone number noted on this page). A member of our team will be happy to help.
Can I pay my CareCredit payment online?
Yes. We have a Pay Now link on our Payment Options webpage.
